MiG 29 Sniper high resolution pictorial
The MiG 29 Sniper is a romanian modernized version of the russian MiG 29. It was developed by Aerostar Bacau in collaboration with Elbit Systems ltd. and Daimler Chrysler Aerospace.
Brought to NATO standards, trough improved avionics including a wide angle Head-Up Display (HUD), Hands-On-Throttle-And-Stick (HOTAS), two MFDs and a MIL-STD-1553B digital databus.
The featured aircraft has flown for the first time (as a sniper) on may 5th 2000; it was displayed at the ILA 2000 in Berlin.
The prototype has the serial number 32367 and was donated to the Romanian Airforce Museum, where the photographs were taken.

and speaking of pressure probes...the main pitot tube:
pitot tube and radome of the N-019EA radar seen from side (and yes, that is the nuclear hazard sign!) also, you can see the DME and the A-037 radar altimeter.
the port side rudder and the two pressure probes visible (there's one more on the starboard side aswell)
please observe the fins and rudders, they really deserve the attention.

P.S. This definitely deserves a re-visit, more pictures, more details especially on the antennae and on the upper part of the fuselage...there are a lot of things that need attention so, it shall be done as soon as possible.
